An interesting example of this varietal grown in a hot climate. Fermentation was in stainless steel, followed by prolonged lees maturation.

Aromas of  pepper and spice are completed by notes of cut plums, wild dark fruit, black forest cake, black cherry sauce, liquorice and aniseed. Flavours of cherry, chocolate, plums, sultanas and dark fruitcake flood the senses melding with well balanced oak adding the creamy vanilla.
